Raj: Hi Soniya! What are you doing?
सोनिया: मैं बोर हो रही थी तो सोचा कि एक कप कॉफी पी लूं!
Soniya: I am getting bored so I thought to have a cup of coffee.
राज: ठीक है, तो आओ, हमारे साथ आओ, हम फुटबॉल खेलने जा रहे हैं। आप फ़ुटबॉल खेल सकते हैं, है ना?
Raj: Okay, so come, join us, we are going to play football. You can play football, right?
सोनिया: नहीं, मुझे खेलना नहीं आता!
Soniya: No, I don’t know how to play.
राज: अरे नहीं!! आप फुटबॉल मैच नहीं देखते!
Raj: Oh no!! You don’t watch football matches.
सोनिया: नहीं. मुझे क्रिकेट ज्यादा पसंद है! क्या आपको यह पसंद है?
Soniya: Nope. I like cricket more. Do you like it?
राज: हां, मेरा मतलब है कि मुझे यह पसंद है लेकिन फुटबॉल मेरी पहली पसंद होगी।
Raj: Ya, I mean I like it but football would be my first preference.

Soniya: I don’t even know anything about football. Will you give me some insights into it?

Raj: Yes, sure. There are two teams, one is called offence and the other team is called defence.
सोनिया: हम्म
Soniya: Hmm
राज: यदि कोई ऑफेंस कर रहा है, तो इसका मतलब है कि गेंद को अंतिम क्षेत्र तक पहुंचाने की कोशिश करना, जो वह क्षेत्र है जहां गोल माना जाता है।
Raj: If one is offending, it means trying to reach the ball to the end zone which is the area where a goal is considered.
सोनिया: हाँ, मैं अभी भी सुन रही हूँ।
Soniya: Yes, I am still listening.
राज: और यदि एक टीम आक्रामक है तो जाहिर तौर पर दूसरी टीम बचाव कर रही है। साथ ही, यह आवश्यक नहीं है कि किसी विशेष समय पर कोई टीम आक्रमण करेगी या बचाव करेगी।
Raj: And if one team is offending then obviously the other team is defending. Also, it is not necessary that at a particular time, a team will offend or defend.
सोनिया: यह बहुत दिलचस्प लगता है! क्या खेलते समय यह इतना दिलचस्प है?
